Description: Asafetida plant grows up to a height of 7 feet. The plant possesses numerous leaves and its flowers are pale greenish yellow in colour. Its fruits are oval shaped.

Uses: Asafetida is used as a carminative and laxative. It is used to treat asthma bronchitis, whooping-cough and number of other diseases.
